Subject: Elif, who returns to her village as a civilized woman, realizes that women live under the domination of men, and gathers other women in the village around her to tell her stories of rebellion against men.

Notes about the movie:
Women living in the village work in the fields, take care of children, cook and serve men. One day, both men and women realize their social duties and rebel against the patriarchal system. Women, who united against men who only spend time sitting in the village coffeehouse, are now opposing the rules set by men and demanding a division of labor. At the same time, he does not want to be positioned as a sexual object. Other important issues touched upon in the film are family planning and women's right to education.
It is also considered the first film to show female friendship and solidarity in the plot.
