In the film, the life of Serap, who is presented in the image of a modern woman, is presented as a paradise, while the life of Naciye, who is presented in the image of a traditional woman, is presented as a nightmare. The position of both women in different cultures, professions and environments is handled in the same person.
The film was remade on Netflix with the same name in 2023.
