Gupse Özay graduated from Ege University, Radio, TV and Cinema Department. He took part in the production process of various documentaries and TV programs. He also worked in the advertising industry. He took part in the television projects BKM Güldür Güldür (2013) and Yalan Dünya (2011-2014). In 2016, he wrote the script of the movie "Görümce" and played the leading actor. The film was directed by Kıvanç Baruönü. In 2018, he sat in the director's chair for the first time with the movie "Deliha 2". While Necati Akpınar was the producer of the film, the cast included actors such as Eda Ece, Derya Alabora and Ali Çelik.
