Emine Emel Balcı
Emine Emel Balcı (1984 -    )

Emine Emel Balcı graduated from Mimar Sinan University, Cinema and Television Department. He worked as assistant director and assistant director in the cinema and television industry. While studying at the university, he shot the documentaries “Women of the Lake” (2007) and “Ich Liebe Dich” (2012). In 2008, he directed the short film "Waiting". His first feature film, "Until My Breath Takes Away", was released in 2015. The movie "Until My Breath Cuts Off", which tells the story of a woman who is crushed by her father's expectations and decides to stand on her own feet, won the "Türkan Şoray Promising Young Actress" (Ece Yüksel) award at the 22nd International Adana Film Festival and the 48th SİYAD Turkish Cinema Awards. She won the "Best Actress" (Esme Madra) award in .
