Çiğdem Vitrinel (1973 -    )

Çiğdem Vitrinel came to life in Karabük in 1973. He completed his undergraduate education at Anadolu University, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Department of Cinema and Television. Later, he started working as an assistant director in the documentary films of master director Metin Erksan. He also worked as an assistant director in the films shot by Yeşim Ustaoğlu and Ahmet Uluçay. He made his directorial debut with the movie "What Remains", which was released in 2011. He won the "Best Director" award at the 48th Golden Orange Film Festival with this film, the script of which he wrote together with Şebnem Vitrinel. In 2014, he took the director's chair for the second time with the movie "Ama Müzeyyen Bu Derin Bir Tutku".
